Mark your calendars for these events coming up at the Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve, 2580 Pine Bluff Drive Decatur, GA 30033
April 16 - 1-3pm: Earth Week Volunteer Day - celebrate Earth Week by getting the Preserve ready for the BioBlitz (see below).April 23 - 5-7pm: Earth Day - Bring a picnic and celebrate Earth Day at the Preserve. Live music by Hot Tamale Ringwald, a local neighborhood band.
May 21 - all day - BioBlitz - a day-long event in which experts and volunteers from the community try to
identify all the living things at the Preserve. This includes plants, birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, insects, and fungi.
